Sing encapsulates an adventure into catching the dynamics of the breath carrying song in individuals with impaired lung capacity. Patients from the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital Singing for Breathingand Breathe Easygroups recorded their song or breath by breathing through a light source onto photographic film.

This piece uses the same processes as above in Sing. Each film records an individual exhalation or song, but presented together and overlaid in this installation the depth and variation of a group of breaths can be appreciated.
